Finding Your Peaceful Place

As a mother of two little ones (ages 3 and 10 months), life is a bit chaotic at times. I love every minute with the girls, but often realize I keep moving and going and I’m just trying to keep up. At the end of a crazy day, I sometimes feel like I barely made it through before crashing into my pillow!

On a recent family day trip to Rockport, MA (one of my all-time favorite New England towns), I found my peaceful place. The beach. My husband, both girls and I. The wind, the waves. It was awesome. It was relaxing (even with the girls). It was awesome. We need to go more often!

I’ve written about Rockport before. We definitely visit a few times a year. We love Roy Moore Lobster and that is always a stop during our trip. And there are plenty of ice cream shops too. It’s definitely my peaceful place.

    • At Front Beach, they have indoor bathrooms and baby changing tables and stuff so it’s helpful for those of us with little ones. We’ll likely be there again sometime around the 4th of July. Keep me posted when you go!
